Stanley B. Fry, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Founder and Chairman of PictureWorks Technology, Image Software, pixami and FlashPoint Technology, Mr. Fry served as President and Chief Executive Officer of FlashPoint from November 1996 to January 1999. He was reappointed Chief Executive Officer in October 1999. From January 1979 until May 1985, he was Director of Research and Development at Wang Laboratories. Mr. Fry is an acknowledged imaging technology expert in the computer industry. Throughout his career, Mr. Fry's contributions have helped shape the development, conceptualization, design, and creation of dozens of hardware and software imaging products. He is recognized as a pioneer and expert in optical character recognition and imaging scanning technology. He holds multiple patents and developed the first commercially available scanner.

Jens H. Hillen, President and Chief Operating Officer
As President of FlashPoint; Mr. Hillen oversees all aspects of the company's operations, establishes the overall strategic direction and sets the long term plans and goals for each group. Prior to joining FlashPoint, Mr. Hillen was an attorney in private practice, principally at the national law firm of Latham & Watkins. While in private practice, Mr. Hillen represented numerous companies and venture capital funds in connection with financing transactions, M&A transactions, technology licensing transactions, corporate governance matters, and other general corporate matters. Prior to law school, Mr. Hillen worked as an applications developer at Oracle Corporation. Mr. Hillen has a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering from the University of California, Berkeley; and a law degree from the University of Southern California. Mr. Hillen is admitted to practice law in California.

Patty Scardino, Chief of IP Operations
Mrs. Scardino is a founding employee of FlashPoint Technology. She has over 15 years of experience in hardware and software engineering. Mrs. Scardino managed the core technology development group responsible for developing Digita, FlashPoint's Imaging Appliance Operating System. Prior to FlashPoint, she worked in the Imaging Division at Apple Computer, and in the Mainframe Development Group at Amdahl Corporation. She has patents in the area of digital imaging software, and patents pending in the areas of Internet imaging. Mrs. Scardino holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois.

R. Todd Morgan, Chief Intellectual Property Counsel
Mr. Morgan is responsible for managing and protecting the intellectual property developed by FlashPoint's research and development teams. Prior to joining FlashPoint, Mr. Morgan was a senior intellectual property attorney at Nortel Networks where he served as general and intellectual property counsel for various business units, and as a litigation team leader. He was also previously employed in private practice where he concentrated primarily on patent litigation. Prior to law school, Mr. Morgan served in the U.S. Navy as a nuclear engineering officer aboard nuclear submarines. He is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and the Wake Forest University Law School and is admitted to practice law in North Carolina and California. He is also registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Leo Smith, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Smith is the Chief Financial Officer, joining FlashPoint in January of 2003. From 1980 until 1998, Mr. Smith was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Eastern Mountain Sports (EMS), a national retail chain of recreational outdoor product. Prior to EMS, Mr. Smith held various financial positions with consumer goods companies. After his departure from EMS, Mr. Smith was a consultant, providing services to a variety of companies in strategic planning and new business start-ups. He was educated at the University of New Hampshire and Stonehill College.
